Suffix is an addition made at the end of a word in order to change its meaning or its kind
e.g.
bad=> badly
bad: adj
badly: adv

Prefix is a syllable,syllables, or word put at the beginning of a word in order to change its meaning or its kind
e.g.
appear:it means, be seen
disappear: the opposite of appear
